My mum had a wasps nest in one of her outside vents. I rang around for quite a few quotes and decided to go with Pest Control Service & Maintenance. Louis was so helpful, from my initial telephone enquiry to actually coming out and dealing with the pests. You can‘t ask for a better service… he came out the very same day and the price was exceptional, some were charging twice the price. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

We called because we had spotted a hornets nest in the eaves at the corner of the house - and they were occasionally getting in via the roof space. By lunchtime the next day the nest had been sprayed and the following morning the only sign of hornets were a few dead ones outside the nest. It was good value, efficiently done and we are now hornet free which is a huge relief.

Outstanding Service I cannot recommend Lewis highly enough. I discovered that wasps had built a nest in the roof/wall close to our second floor Velux window and had actually managed to chew their way into the house. As you can imagine, I was rather stressed. I'd initially tried another well known local company advertising a 24/7 service, but after being kept waiting and chasing them for a response, I was told nobody could attend that evening, and would need to call back the next day to try to arrange something, with no advice offered in the meantime. Needless to say, I was disappointed and even more stressed. Thankfully, my neighbour recommended Lewis. I contacted him that same evening and, despite it being late, he replied straight away, immediately putting me at ease. He talked me through what to do for the night and arranged to come first thing the next morning. He arrived exactly when he said he would, accessed the area without any difficulty, and dealt with the nest quickly and professionally. Everything was sorted within around 30 minutes. He clearly explained what to expect over the following 48 hours and reassured me that if the wasps were still active after that, he'd come back out free of charge. True to his word, the treatment fully resolved the problem and we've had no issues since. What really stood out, though, was how genuinely kind he is and how much he cares about doing a good job and about the people he's helping. He's also just incredibly pleasant to have around, easy to talk to and put me completely at ease despite how stressed I was. He was respectful of the property and made a stressful situation feel completely manageable. He also went above and beyond in so many little ways. He took videos of the roof for me so I could show them to roofers for repairs, and even checked whether the gutters needed cleaning. None of this was necessary, but it says everything about the level of care he puts into his work. On top of all this, his pricing was extremely reasonable, significantly lower than the competition, which made the whole experience even better given the standard of service. We unfortunately seem to have wasp problems every year, but I now know exactly who I'll be calling. If you have any pest control problem whatsoever, contact Lewis.
